Veil of Echoes is a generative art project that turns brainwaves into visuals.

With the help of an EEG device, we can stream your Alpha, Beta, Delta, Theta, and Gamma brainwave data in real time. Based on the values we receive from each channel, we create unique images that reflect your brain’s activity.

Goal and Inspiration of VoE

This project focuses on mental health, our traumas, memories, and more.
Let me explain where the idea came from. In 2024, starting therapy helped me a lot in so many ways. I realized that our current self actually belongs to the past. Our past has a huge effect on who we are today. But the moment you realize this and if you go back in time (with techniques like EMDR) you gain the power to reinterpret your past. The best part is, you get to do it with your current mindset, with your current self.

After revisiting my past and healing the major wounds that were shaping my life, this idea came to me:

Visualizing Memories.

I knew it had to be done in a way that felt safe, within our own boundaries. The Veil of Echoes project is about unveiling your memories but only to yourself. The final visual is your secret; only you know the echoes hidden behind the veil. You unlock the power to visualize your past.

This way, we can live in peace with our past, maybe even transform painful memories, turning them into living portraits. This project was first my personal challenge and now, it’s a journey shared with everyone who becomes a part of it.

Artistic Approach

After thinking about the concept and the technical requirements of the project, I spent months figuring out how to execute it how to actually visualize the data coming from brainwaves.
At first, I thought about training an AI model to generate real-time images.
But then, an idea came to me and it was exactly what I had been dreaming of: turning data into abstract art.

I started working with TouchDesigner. Using brainwave data, I created many different shapes and abstract visuals. After months of experimenting and pushing through challenges, I finally arrived at the visual style I had envisioned from the very beginning: A storm, a cloud, a veil that hides and protects our memories.

In the next image, you can see the node setup in TouchDesigner. Brainwaves control the motion of the artwork, shaping it in real time. This way, each piece becomes unique and different from the others.

The holders’ brainwaves will rise and fall depending on their emotions and feelings and that's exactly what makes each piece a story, a truly one-of-a-kind NFT.

Let’s talk about the color palette.


In Veil of Echoes, each token will have its own unique color combination, randomly assigned. I chose to use more vibrant color palettes, since this collection is deeply connected to mental health and emotional expression.

Technical Details and Mint Process

Let’s talk about how we create the final images and the minting details.


Here’s a simulation of the creation process, from presale to tokenization:

  • The collector purchases during the presale.

  • The collector receives a soulbound token as a signature of being a part of Veil of Echoes.

  • The artist deploys their own smart contract and creates 100 NFTs, each with a unique color palette.

  • After the collection sells out, collectors receive a coupon code to order their EEG device for free.

  • The collector orders their EEG device.

  • Once the device arrives, the collector and the artist schedule a call (using an app of the collector’s choice).

  • During this session, the artist explains the technical details of how to record brainwave data (with the help of a mobile app).

  • The collector records their brainwave data and shares it with the artist.

  • The artist then generates the final video artwork and updates the NFT metadata with the completed piece.

  • As a final touch, each holder also receives a high-quality, A2-sized signed print of a still frame taken from their unique video.

Vision and Future Plans

  • Genesis Collection Launch
    Veil of Echoes is the first step in a broader series of “Brain” collections I am planning. By starting with 100 genesis tokens, my aim is to prioritize VoE holders in all future brainwave-related projects.

  • Training a Custom AI Model
    After the genesis drop, I plan to focus on training a machine learning model.

    This AI will generate visuals based on emotional and brainwave data, opening the door to a new, fully AI-generated collection. VoE holders will have early access and special rewards connected to this expansion.

  • Collaborations with TouchDesigner Artists
    In the longer term, I aim to collaborate with different TouchDesigner artists, continuing to use the brain as a creative medium. VoE holders will again have early access to these upcoming projects, enriching their journey within the ecosystem.

  • Exhibitions and Installations
    As with my previous collections, one of my main goals is to bring VoE to the best galleries, exhibition spaces, and outdoor installations worldwide. Growing the project's presence in the physical world is an important part of the long-term vision.

  • Non Fungible Conference 2025 and Beyond
    Veil of Echoes is an official sponsor of Non Fungible Conference 2025, where we will have one of the largest booths at the main event. I will also be performing a live VoE show during the conference. Following the event, the plan is to set up VoE booths and experiences in cities like Dubai, Paris, Berlin, and more.
